Airfare is not included. You need to book your own flights. You must arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO) on June 24, 2017 and depart San Jose on July 1, 2017. Many airlines fly to San Jose including American, Delta, United, Jet Blue, Southwest, Spirit and several others. Please make sure to inform us of your confirmed flight schedule before May 1, 2017.
Each U.S. Citizen must have a Passport valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date in Costa Rica. Thus, your Passport cannot expire prior to December 24, 2017. If your Passport expires prior to December 24, 2017, you must renew your Passport prior to your departure. No Visas nor Immunizations are currently required. You are responsible for your travel documents, so please verify the expiration date on your Passport. There is no refund if you do not have the proper documentation. Please call us if you have any questions.
You must pay the initial deposit of $500 per person when you sign up. Another deposit of $1,500 per person will be due on January 1, 2017. The remaining balance will be due on April 1, 2017. If you prefer, we can also arrange for monthly payments after your initial deposit.

The price will change, depending on how many people are travelling with you. When you book your trip, we’ll confirm your price for single, double, triple or quadruple occupancy. If you’re travelling alone, the price is much higher. If you’re travelling with 2-3 other people, the price is lower. The maximum occupancy per room is 4 (quadruple).

Yes, you can eat the food and drink the water in Costa Rica. Costa Rica has reliable sources of drinking water and a safe food supply system.
Temperatures fluctuate by elevation. Costa Rica is mountainous, so the higher you go, the cooler it is. The lower you go, the hotter it is. On this trip, it should be very pleasant: About 75 – 85 degrees in the daytime with cooler evenings. Mornings – early afternoons are generally sunny. Mid-afternoon rain showers are common and pleasant.
Light, comfortable clothes and more than one pair of comfortable shoes. Swimsuits and a good, waterproof sunscreen are a must. You should consider a light sweater and bring a light rain poncho.
